 The Dean of Students works with the students at San Miguel in the following areas:

Detention is from 3:35 - 4:00 PM in Room 205 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Please bring school work when you are serving detention.

Violation Consequence
4th tardy or more to school or class one detention for each occurrence
Cell phone use in buildings detention and temporary confiscation, further violations involve detention and parental pick-up of phone
CIP Tardiness automatic detention
Dress code violation change of clothhing, detention for further violations, loss of privilege on future days

You may call me or use email to contact me at any time over concerns about your child. Establishing email communication is an excellent way to work with me, expecially if you child is experiencing difficulties. I work with all students at San Miguel in both academic and discipline.

Please work with me to improve the quality of our school and to assist you in achieving the goal of getting you into college. Visit me if you need help in academics, self-discipline, or just want to talk. You know where to find me between periods!

Important Information

  • the front door is locked at 4:00 PM each day
  • we have resumed the use of security guards after school
  • enter the Student Life offices using the outside door near the south gate
